hoping to bring comfort where and when it is needed most.
this collection carries a deeper weight than usual, there is a great deal of real world problems that we can not even begin to grasp, but hope to bring awareness and prayer to. 
at ccc, our promise remains unchanged: every collection carries a tithe, 10% of every sale given back to causes close to God’s heart.
but this time, our burden has been different.
while we have always supported ministries of faith and mission, for this collection we felt led to respond to the ache of the world right now. raw, urgent, and deeply in need of compassion and resources. 

the suffering around us is not far away. it fills the news, it fills conversations, it fills the cries of people made in the image of God.
and even though our brand is small, we believe generosity can still reach beyond borders.
this season, our tithe will be given to Caritas Australia, a charity on the ground providing real relief where devastation is unfolding today.

why Caritas Australia?
we want to give in a way that meets people in their real, present pain not just in theory, but in action.
Caritas Australia has been doing exactly that.

their work has long been established, transparent, accountable, and deeply humanitarian. real stories of real lives that are helped and saved.

their teams partner with local communities, churches, and international networks to meet urgent needs with both compassion and structure along with shelter, clean water, medical care, food relief, trauma support, rebuilding, and long-term recovery.

Sudan — emergency relief in a silent crisis
sudan is walking through one of the world’s worst humanitarian emergencies. conflict has displaced millions, hunger is rising, and families are fleeing with nothing.
Caritas Australia is providing food, medical assistance, sanitation, and safe shelter through their partners on the ground, reaching communities most affected by violence and instability.

Palestine — supporting families through devastation
in gaza and surrounding regions, families have endured extreme hardship, displacement, and loss.
Caritas partners are offering essential relief: emergency food parcels, hygiene kits, medical aid, psychological support for children, and the resources communities desperately need to survive.
their work continues despite danger, reminding us that compassion must not be silent in the face of suffering.

Floods across Asia — responding to storms, landslides, and loss
in south and southeast asia, monsoon floods have swept through cities and villages, leaving homes destroyed and families with no safe place to go.
Caritas teams are responding to multiple countries at once, providing evacuation assistance, temporary housing, clean water systems, food supplies, blankets, and rebuilding support for affected families.

Congo — hope amid conflict
in the democratic republic of the congo, ongoing violence has driven millions from their homes, creating one of the largest displacement crises in the world.
Caritas Australia’s local partners are providing urgent essentials safe shelter, clean water, health services, and food relief to families surviving in overcrowded camps and unstable regions.
their work helps restore dignity and stability in a place where conflict has taken so much, offering hope where it’s needed most.

these crises may seem far from our shores, but they are deeply close to God’s heart. and as believers, we are called to meet suffering with action.

why this cause, this time?
because this world is groaning. because people created by God are hurting. because comfort is not just fabric, it is compassion. it is solidarity. it is generosity that looks beyond our own lives and chooses to see someone else’s pain.

normally, our tithe supports ministries directly connected to the persecuted church or gospel-centred missions and that remains part of our brand’s DNA.
but this season, God placed something different on our hearts.
to step into the real, physical needs of the world right now.
to take the comfort we create here, and extend it into places where comfort feels impossible.

we wanted this collection to respond to the urgency of today of wars, floods, famine, displacement.
real people. real loss. real need.

standing in the gap
even if we cannot go, we can give.

even if we cannot rebuild their homes, we can help rebuild hope.

we believe this is part of our call as a brand and as believers. to carry one another’s burdens, to lift up the broken, and to shine light where darkness has settled.

this collection holds a deep place in our heart.
at ccc, our promise stands firm: every collection carries a tithe, 10% of every sale given back to kingdom causes that we believe are of God's heart and mission. for this collection, that tithe will be going to ‘Voice of the Martyrs Australia’, a ministry that faithfully supports believers who live out their faith in the face of real hardship and persecution.

Why VOM?
Jesus never promised a life without suffering, but He did promise His presence in it. and He calls us to stand with those who suffer for His name. VOM Australia exists for that very reason.
they support believers who are persecuted, imprisoned, or silenced simply for following Jesus. their work brings practical help, spiritual encouragement, and a powerful message to the suffering church: you are not forgotten.

VOM reminds us that when one part of the body suffers, we all suffer (1 corinthians 12:26). even if we can’t be there in person, we can still stand with them in prayer, generosity, and faith.

their mission reflects the heart of Christ, to walk with the weary, strengthen the persecuted, and keep the name of Jesus alive in some of the hardest places on earth.

we do not take for granted the freedom we have. the freedom to worship openly, to gather as community, and to wear our faith without fear.
yet across the world, many of our brothers and sisters choose Jesus knowing well the cost.
the cost of losing friends and family, the cost of not being accepted, even the cost of life.
yet they still choose to walk through trials, opposition, and suffering, and still they stand firm, believing in eternal life and salvation.

their faith is a powerful testimony to the strength of the gospel. it humbles us. it inspires us to hold on fast, even in the face of our own trials and tribulations.

Ephesians 4:4–6 that though oceans and hardship may separate us, we belong to one body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism.
no matter the distance or difficulty, we are united as one family in Christ.

and while we may never walk their path of persecution, we choose to stand with them. in prayer, in purpose, and in faith. proclaiming the gospel and carrying one another’s burdens.
we live by faith, not by sight (2 corinthians 5:7).

this cause is personal to me. there is one story that hits close to home.
my dad’s faith was held strong in a place where choosing Jesus was met with risk and opposition. even in those hard places, he chose faith. a reminder that the gospel is worth everything, no matter the cost. his faith in Jesus is the very reason why i am here. so i really have Jesus to thank for that. oh how the Lord’s faithfulness is so evident in our lives right now.

through this collection, we hope to bring comfort not only to those who wear it, but also to those who need Jesus in places of great struggle.
to offer hope. a reminder that they are not forgotten.
and that the same spirit who strengthens us is with them in their trials.

if this collection can help make a difference in even one believer’s life, that is more than enough for us.

Why IJM?
It all ties back to A Carpenter’s Bride and the heart of our Saviour Jesus, who came to set the captives free and to rescue the broken. Jesus is our model of grace, sacrifice, and love, and He calls us to stand for freedom, and against injustice. 
IJM is on the front lines of that mission. They are rescuing those trapped in human trafficking, slavery, and oppression, offering not only physical freedom but also the hope of a restored life. Their work reflects the mission of Christ bringing light to dark places and setting the captives free.

We pray this prayer to be the change that we want to see in the world. We pray this prayer to help guide our decisions. We continuously seek God’s direction, asking Him to reveal where He wants us to focus with each collection.

why we chose to support destiny rescue this collection?

Destiny Rescue is on the front lines, rescuing children from unimaginable situations and giving them hope for a better future. They not only shine a light on child exploitation but also create real opportunities for kids who need it most.
